UNDERWORLD 6: Rise of the Vampire
The first official trailer for “Underworld 6: Rise of the Vampire” (2025) brings Kate Beckinsale back to her iconic role as Selene, the fearsome vampire Death Dealer, in what promises to be the most explosive and action-packed installment of the franchise yet. After a five-year hiatus, the world of vampires and lycans returns with an epic battle for dominance that threatens to reshape both supernatural and human worlds.
The trailer opens with a hauntingly beautiful shot of a snowy, desolate landscape under a full moon, setting a dark and ominous tone. Selene’s voiceover begins: “For centuries, we fought in the shadows. But the war has changed, and soon, the world will know the power of the night.”
Flashes of battle-worn cities and decaying castles follow as we’re introduced to a new, terrifying threat—a powerful vampire coven that seeks to overthrow the existing order and crown a new vampire king. The leader of this rising faction, a menacing figure with glowing eyes and ancient powers, declares, “The time of the elders is over. We rise, and we will take what is ours.”
Selene, now a legend among vampires and lycans alike, is shown in hiding, living a solitary life after the events of the previous films. However, she’s pulled back into the war by an unexpected ally, an enigmatic vampire warrior played by a new actor, who warns of the impending vampire rebellion that threatens to destroy everything Selene once fought to protect.
