Wyrmwood: Apocalypse (2022) is an Australian post-apocalyptic action and horror film that serves as the sequel to 2014’s cult hit Wyrmwood : Road of the Dead. Directed by Kiah Roache-Turner, the film takes place in a zombie-infested world where survivors struggle to survive amid chaos and despair.

The story follows Rhys, a soldier living in Australia’s hinterland, who captures survivors to hand them over to a paramilitary organisation that conducts experiments to find a cure. However, Rhys begins to question his morality when he meets Grace, a hybrid survivor immune to the zombie virus, and his sister Maxi. Together, they must navigate the hostile swamp, fight hordes of the undead, and confront the organization’s sinister intentions.
