Director Jay Woelfel’s “Asylum of Darkness” takes viewers on a chilling ride through a world where reality and nightmare intertwine. The film follows a patient who awakens in a mental asylum, believing he’s found the key to freedom, only to discover a terrifying and supernatural reality awaiting him beyond the asylum’s walls.
The story begins with a patient, played by Nick Baldasare, waking up in a mental asylum with fragmented memories and a desperate desire to escape. Determined to regain his freedom, he hatches a plan to break out. However, upon stepping into the outside world, he encounters a realm more sinister and unsettling than he could have ever imagined.
